The firm has handled many major fire, consequential loss, contract works and liability claims experienced in Singapore. Some of the claims handled in more recent years include:-
· A fire loss in 2008 at a plant manufacturing bearings involving a material damage claim of S$20 million and a business interruption claim of S$25 million.
· S$9 million turbine damage claim at a power station in Singapore in 2007
· S$10 million property damage and business interruption loss in October 2005 due to a major fire at supplier’s electro-plating house.
· S$10 million material damage loss together with a S$20 million business interruption claim following damage to a 5-star holiday resort in the Maldives caused by the South Asia tsunami on 26 December 2004.
· US$6 million material damage claim involving the flooding of a tea factory in Sri Lanka in June 2003.
· CAR claim finalised in 2005 involving the settlement and tilting of a 30 storey office tower which resulted in a claim in excess of the contract sum / sum insured of S$66 million.
· US$2.7 million liability claim in July 2004 under a contract works policy for property damage and business interruption to the Principal’s wafer fab.
· A fire loss at a glass manufacturer in Singapore in 2000 involving a material damage claim of S$10 million and a business interruption claim of S$15 million.
