Commercial Property

Crawford & Company has more than 30 years experience in the handling of commercial losses in Asia. The bulk of these are fire losses in residential, commercial and industrial premises.

Besides establishing the causation at times using the expertise of forensic scientists and external consultants in the case of major and suspicious losses, the company is able to bring in restoration specialists in mitigating losses particularly in cases where there will be business interruption claims.

The experience gained by the professional staff have also helped the insurance industry in exposing several major insurance frauds including a S$6 million fire loss in a departmental store in 2000. Some of these cases had been successfully pleaded in courts.

Our professional staff are familiar with local business practices and stock control and recording systems.
