This is achieved by utilising highly skilled staff and external expertise, a structured enquiry process and technology that is directed at the early resolution of claims. We have developed Crawford Search, a bespoke Domino database application that helps to track and monitor repeat claims.

At Crawford & Company, we have the resources and capability to respond effectively. We presently employ adjusters/investigators with a combined experience of over 20 years in investigating white-collar crimes while with the Singapore Police Force. Unlike most private investigators, they all have a thorough understanding of insurance policy contracts, contract law and torts. This background gives our team a distinct advantage during investigations as they are experienced in validating claims and distinguishing the potentially fraudulent claim at the earliest possible stage.

Even if fraud is not present, proper questions during the interview process can often reveal evidence of misrepresentation or non-disclosure of material facts. Fraud can also be present in workmen's compensation and personal accident claims as injuries to workmen and policyholders could be self-inflicted or feigned. Besides, with ever increasing quantum awarded for general damages, it is important that no stone is left unturned during investigation of claims involving injuries or death under all classes of insurance.
